2020 Test Dates for ACT and SAT (Registration Deadlines)

Here’s a summary of all of the 2020 test dates, for both the ACT and the SAT.  Also shown is the registration deadline for each test, where available.  Note that late registration is yet another option, which extends the time you have available to register.  However, there is a slight upcharge for this service!

April 4th / March 2 registration deadline

June 13th / May 8th registration deadline

July 18th / June 19th registration deadline

September 12th / registration not open until July

October 24th / registration not open until July

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Any of these 2020 test dates are subject to change.  The ACT and the SAT are constantly monitoring the on-going situation with the coronavirus spreading in the United States, and will respond accordingly.

 

 

  • Also, note that the September 12th ACT test date is the first onion which you will be able to take advantage of the new ACT policy: Section Retake.  Instead of having to retake the entire test, you may decide to just retake one, two, or three sections!   However, to qualify for the Section Retake, you must have taken a previous full-length ACT.  So, be sure to do that in April, June, or July.
